UPUMS Recruitment 2016 for 45 Faculty Posts

Uttar Pradesh University of Medical Sciences (UPUMS) invited applications for the post of Associate Professor and Other Posts. The eligible candidates can apply to the post through the prescribed format on or before 25 June 2016.

Under UPUMS Recruitment 2016, out of total 45 posts, 11 posts are allotted to Associate Professor, 10 posts are allotted to Professor and 24 posts are allotted Assistant Professor/Lecturer.

Eligibility for Associate Professor and Other Posts Job

Educational Qualification: A Medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule or Part II of Third Schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in Part-II of the Third Schedule of the said Act, shall also fulfill the conditions specified in Sub-section (3) of the Section 13 of the Act. aforesaid). A postgraduate qualification e.g. DM/MCh. or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Qualification for Radio diagnosis posts :

Associate Professor: (i) As Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for four years in a recognized medical college/ Institute. (After MD/MS 6 years teaching experience from recognized medical college/ Institute.) (ii) Minimum of two Research publications as a First/Second Author in index/national journals during the tenure of the Assistant Professor.

Assistant Professor (i) Recognized postgraduate (MD/MS.) qualification in the subject. (ii) Three years post PG. teaching experience from recognized medical college/Institute.

Lecturer : (i) Requisite Recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject. (ii) Three years experience as Resident/Demonstrator from recognized medical college/Institute
