Popular micro-blogging site Twitter on 5 October 2015 announced Jack Dorsey as its permanent Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
The appointment of Dorsey, who is also the CEO of mobile payments company Square, marks his second stretch as Twitter’s CEO. He will handle both the jobs at once.
Dorsey has served as interim CEO of Twitter since former CEO Dick Costolo stepped down on 1 July 2015.

Jack Dorsey was born on 19 November 1976 in St. Louis, Missouri, United States. By professional qualifications, he is a programmer and businessman.
Dorsey along with Noah Glass, Biz Stone and Evan Williams founded the famous micro-blogging site Twitter, Inc. in March 2006.
In 2008, Dorsey was named to the MIT Technology Review TR35 as one of the top 35 innovators in the world under the age of 35. He was also awarded with Innovator of the Year Award for technology by the Wall Street Journal in 2012.
