NIIT and Microsoft came together for Cloud Training

Information training company NIIT Ltd partnered with Microsoft on 12 September 2012 for courses in Cloud computing. The partnership is going to create nearly one lakh cloud ready professionals in India over the time period of three years.

The tie- up is totally benefitting. Now, the benefits of Microsoft Certification integrated with NIIT programmes are made available to students both in the retail and academic space by NIIT.

NIIT and Microsoft are already in strategic partnership for over two decades basically for developing contemporary talent pool for IT industry.

NIIT Limited is a global computer education company.  The company provides training for individuals, enterprises, schools and colleges. It has its presence in 40 countries worldwide.

In 2004, NIIT was restructured into two groups. One is NIIT Limited, which focuses on the training and education in IT segment, and another which is known as NIIT Technologies which is an information technology (IT) solutions organization.

Microsoft Corporation is an American multinational corporation headquartered in Redmond, Washington that develops, manufactures, licenses and supports a wide range of products and services related to computing. The company was founded by Bill Gates and Paul Allen on April 4, 1975. Microsoft is the world's largest software maker measured by revenues. It is also one of the world's most valuable companies.
