
Mumbai University Semester End Exams 2020: As per the latest update, the University of Mumbai is planning to hold the MU Semester End Exams 2020 in the month of December 2020 for students of all streams. In line with the prevailing situation of the pandemic and the restrictions in place to contain it, the varsity will be holding semester end exams online for all streams- arts, science, and commerce. Online Exams under Digital Supervision
With the exams going online, the varsity has put in place an extensive digital supervision mechanism, as part of the examination process. With the digital supervision in place for exams of all courses, the university aims to keep in check any kind of malpractices. Anyone found to be involved in cheating will face strict action from the varsity. Moreover, the university has also decided to appoint vigilance squads to oversee the conduct of exams. These squads will visit colleges and seek photos or video footage of students taking exams online.
Exam Pattern Likely to be Changed for Professional Courses
According to the details shared by the university, the exam pattern for professional courses such as engineering and law is likely to undergo some major changes this year. The questions that will be asked in the exam would be of higher difficulty level as per the university officials.
Decentralized Exams
For 2020 session, the exams for 5th Semester students will also be decentralized and will be held at college level. The exams for the first and second year would anyway be decentralized. The decentralization process for Mumbai University Semester Exams 2020 is being carried out as part of making the examination process convenient for students and authorities. As per the details available through media reports, the exams would begin with second and third-year students, and the first-year exams would be held towards the end of the session.
