Eligibility for Assistant Professor, Professor, and Associate Professor: Qualification and experience required for the above posts are as prescribed by UGC. the prescribed qualifications for teaching positions stand as per “UGC Regulations on minimum qualification for appointment of teaching and other academic staff in Universities and Colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in Higher Education 2010”, UGC (2ndamendment) Regulations, 2013and UGC (3rd amendment) Regulations, 2016. NET shall remain the minimum eligibility condition for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professors as per UGC Regulations, 2010.
The qualification and experience for teaching positions in the Department of Architecture, Computer Science & Engineering, Management and Pharmacy may also be considered as per the provisions of the Council of Architecture (COA)/ All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) as applicable.
