Deptt. of Social Welfare, Govt. of Bihar  invited applications for Para-Medical & Other posts purely on contract basis for one year for Buniyad Centre under Bihar Integrated Social Protection Strengthening (BISPS) Project. The eligible candidates can apply online latest by 17 June 2016.

Under Deptt. of Social Welfare, Govt. of Bihar Recruitment 2016, out of total 320 posts, 20 posts are allotted to Case Manager, 20 posts are allotted to Senior Physiotherapist, 40 posts are allotted to Physiotherapist, 20 posts are allotted to Mobility Instructor, 20 posts are allotted to Speech & Language Pathologist/therapist, 20 posts are allotted to Counsellor / Clinical Psychologist, 100 posts are allotted Technician, 20 posts are allotted to Care Giver, 20 posts are allotted to Cook Cum Helper, 20 posts are allotted to Paramedic and 20 posts are allotted to Driver.

Eligibility for Case Manager – Postgraduate/Master Degree in Psycho-Social Rehabilitation/Rehabilitation Science/ Rehabilitation Studies/Social Work in Disability Studies/Special Education/Mental Retardation/ Rehabilitation Psychology or Post graduate Diploma in Disability Rehabilitation and management/ Geriatric Care /Rehabilitation Psychology/Rehabilitation Science/rehabilitation Studies /Special Education from recognized Institute or University with a minimum 2 Years of relevant Post Qualification work Experience. Or Bachelor Degree in Special Education/Mental Retardation/Disability /Rehabilitation studies from a recognized Institute /University with minimum 4 years of relevant Post qualification work experience. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is must.

Eligibility for Senior Physiotherapist - Master in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution with minimum 6 months post degree internship in reputed hospital with minimum 2 years of post - qualification working experience in reputed hospital / institution. Or Bachelor in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution with minimum 6 months post degree internship in reputed hospital with minimum 4 years of post - qualification working experience in reputed hospital / institution. S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is must.

Eligibility for Physiotherapist – Bachelor in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution with minimum 6 months post degree internship in reputed hospital with minimum 2 years of post - qualification working experience in reputed hospital / institution.

Eligibility for Mobility Instructor - Bachelor in Mobility Science/Special Education (VI)/Physiotherapy/Occupational therapy from a recognized institution with minimum 2 year of relevant post - qualification work experience. Or Diploma in Physiotherapy / Occupational therapy from a recognized institution with minimum 3 years of relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Speech & Language Pathologist/therapist - Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing / Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from an RCI recognised Institution with minimum 2 years of relevant post - qualification work experience.  Or Post graduate Degree in Speech & hearing /Speech and language Pathology from an RCI recognized Institute with one year of relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Counsellor / Clinical Psychologist - Master in Psychology with regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology / Guidance and Counselling / Counselling and Rehabilitation / Rehabilitation Psychology with minimum 2 years post - qualification  work experience as a Professional Counsellor / Clinical psychologist / Rehabilitation Counsellor in reputed Organization / institution. OR Bachelor Degree in Psychology with regular one year Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Psychology/Guidance and Counselling / Counselling and Rehabilitation / Rehabilitation Psychology from a recognized Institute or University with minimum 4 years of post-qualification work experience as a Professional Counsellor/Clinical psychologist / Rehabilitation counsellor . S/he should have good communication skill (both oral and writing) in English and Hindi. Proficiency in working with MS office is must.

Eligibility for Technician (Audiometry) - Bachelor’s Degree in Speech and Hearing / Audiology and Speech Language Pathology  from an RCI Recognized Institution with   2 year of relevant  Post Qualification work experience  or Diploma in Speech and Hearing / diploma in Hearing Aid Repair and Ear Mould Technology from a recognized institution with minimum three years of relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Technician (Ophthalmology) - Bachelor’s Degree in Ophthalmic Technique /Optometry or Post graduate Diploma in Ophthalmology from a recognized Institute or University with minimum 2 year of relevant Post Qualification work Experience or Diploma in Ophthalmology/Ophthalmic Technology/Ophthalmic Assistant/Optometry from a recognized institution with three years of relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Technician (Assistive Devices) - Bachelor Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an RCI recognized institution with minimum 2 years of relevant post - qualification work experience. OrDiploma in Prosthetics & Orthotics from an RCI recognized institution with minimum 3 years relevant post - qualification work experience .

Eligibility for Care Giver - Diploma in Developmental Therapy / Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy / Diploma in Developmental Disabilities / Diploma in Special Education from a recognized institution with minimum 2 years relevant post - qualification work experience. OR Certificate Course in Care Giving / Certificate Course in Geriatric Care / Certificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy from a recognized institution with minimum 2 years relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Cook Cum Helper - Class 8th Pass or equivalent with minimum 2 years’ experience of cooking and maintaining kitchen.

Eligibility for Paramedic (Centre & Response Van) - Diploma in Rehabilitation Therapy / Developmental Therapy from a recognized institution with minimum 2 years relevant post - qualification work experience  orCertificate Course in Rehabilitation Therapy/ Certificate Course in Geriatric Care from a recognized institution with minimum 3 years relevant post - qualification work experience.

Eligibility for Driver - Matric Pass or equivalent with a valid driving license and minimum 4 years’ experience of driving; knowledge of operating audio – visual equipment would be an added advantage.
