IAS topper 2012(20th rank) Priyanka Niranjan in an interview to Kunal Jha of jagranjosh.com tells the viewers about the right strategy for IAS Prelim Exam. She considers Prelims the easiest part of the entire Civil Services Examination process which is contrary to the belief that it is the toughest.
Priyanka practiced unseen passages, reasoning and Maths for General Studies Paper II, popularly referred as CSAT. For paper I, she focused on traditional areas like applied Science, Polity, Economy along with Current Affairs.

Priyanka Niranjan opines that if an IAS aspirant prepares for IAS Main Exam at the same time his/her preparation for Prelims Exam gets updated. Therefore, a holistic approach to IAS examinations process makes the Prelim part easier.

The final exam result of IAS exam 2012 was declared on 3 May 2013.
