Tips and Strategy for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2012

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct a Combined All India Open Examination (Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination, 2012) for recruitment to the posts of Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerks on 21 & 28 October 2012. The Written Examination will consist of one objective type paper based on four parts namely:
•    General Intelligence
•    English Language (Basic Knowledge)
•    Quantitative Aptitude (Basic Arithmetic Skill)
•    General Awareness

There are certain Tips and Strategies that candidate should always keep in their mind while solving the questions at home as well as in the examination hall. Understand the pattern - First the candidate should understand the pattern of the examination. Candidate should have the clear idea about the Objective type Questions and Descriptive type Questions. The candidate should be aware about the negative marking concept in the examination.

Understand the Syllabus- Syllabus is one of the most important documents for any examination, but many students don't take it seriously. Therefore first the candidate should read the syllabus carefully. They should also remember the marks allotment for different segments asked in the examination. The candidate should be very familiar with all the segments like General Intelligence Segment, English language segment, Quantitative Aptitude Segment and General Awareness segment.

Analysis of Previous Papers - Analyzing the previous question papers will help the candidate to get a clear picture of the pattern of questions asked in each section. Practice makes the man perfect. It is the only key to avoid negative marking in the examination. Sample papers will help the candidate to decide on the required time to answer each question.

Time Management - Time management is extremely important for all the competitive examination. The candidate should consider their study room as an examination hall and try to solve the questions with in the decided time frame.
