Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi invited applications from eligible candidates, who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned various ‘Non- Teaching’ posts. Educational Qualification/ Experience :

Qualification must be from recognized University or Board or Institution with relevant years of experience in the concerned field.

• For Post 1 & 2: Possess MD/ MS in the relevant field or MBBS or equivalent.
• For Post 3: Possess Graduate Degree and Diploma in Computer Application.
• For Post 4, 10 & 14 : Possess Master Degree in the concerned field.
• For Post 5  :  Possess B. Sc. Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.
• For Post 6 & 7 : Possess Matriculation (10th Standard) Pass or equivalent.
• For Post 8, 9 & 11 to 13:  Possess Higher Secondary (10+2 Pass) or equivalent. Diploma in the concerned field.
• For Post 15 : Possess B.Sc. In the relevant field or Higher Secondary (10+2 Pass) or ITI in the concerned trade or equivalent with relevant work experience.
• For Post 16 & 17: Possess Diploma in the concerned field or equivalent.

Age Limit & Relaxation:

Age Limit for the candidate should be mentioned below as per the date of advertisement and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

• For Post 1 & 2 :  Below 55 years.
• For all other Posts:  Between 18 to 30 years.

Pay Scale/ Salary :

• For Post 1: Pay Band (PB – 4) and Pay Scale of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 8,700/- Per Month.
• For Post 2 : Pay Band (PB – 3) and Pay Scale of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 5,400/- Per Month.
• For Post 3  :Pay Band (PB – 1) and Pay Scale of Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 1,900/- Per Month.
• For Post 4  :Pay Band (PB – 2) and Pay Scale of Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,600/- Per Month.
• For Post 5, 10 to 13, 16 & 17  :Pay Band (PB – 2) with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month.
• For Post 6 to 8 & 15  :Pay Band (PB – 1) with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/- Per Month.
• For Post 9 & 14  :Pay Band (PB – 1) with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,800/- Per Month.

Selection Procedure

The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in the Written Test (only for the post 5 to 8 & 15) and the Personal Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.

• Interested Candidates may apply ONLINE through the BHU’s Website www.bhu.ac.in on or before 15 December 2014.

• After successful submission of ONLINE application, candidate has to take the printout of the filled in application form for future requirement/ reference.

• Candidates should submit filled in and signed application form along with the photo copies of relevant certificates/ testimonials in support of date of birth, qualifications, experience, category (SC/ ST/ PWD), Demand Draft etc. with a recent passport size photograph must be affix on the application form (if reqd.) may be forwarded to the office of the “Registrar (Recruitment & Assessment Cell), Holkar House, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi – 221 005” within 10 days from the last date of submission of Online Application (i.e. 25 December 2014).
