Bharathidasan University, Centre for Geographic Information Technologies (CGIT) invited applications for recruitment to 36 various posts for project “NREGAGIT” (NREGA Implementation through Geographic Information Technologies for Tamil Nadu) in different capacities. Eligibility Criteria

Educational qualification

1. Senior Scientist: PG Degree in any Geoscience discipline or in any IT related discipline or a Bachelor in Engineering / Technology alongwith Ph.D. or 4 years experience in handling projects using GI Technologies.
2. Scientist: PG Degree in any Geoscience discipline or in any IT related discipline or a Bachelor in Engineering / Technology alongwith 3 years experience in GI Technologies or Application Development with at least two years in GIS Customisation.
3. Senior Project Associate: PG Degree in any Geoscience discipline or in any IT related discipline or a Bachelor in Engineering / Technology alongwith 2 years experience in using GI Technologies or application Development with at least one year in GIS Customisation.
4. Project Associate: PG Degree in any Geoscience discipline or in any IT related discipline or a Bachelor in Engineering / Technology or a PG Degree in Non-Geoscience discipline along with exposure in GI Technologies or Certificate Course in GI Technologies.
5. Senior Project Fellow: PG Degree in any Geoscience discipline or in any IT related discipline or a Bachelor in Engineering / Technology or a PG Degree in Non-Geoscience discipline.
6. Junior Project Fellow: PG Degree in any discipline or bachelor in Engineering / Technology or a +2 / Diploma / ITI with Certificate Course in GI Technologies.
7. Senior Field Assistant: completed +2 or have a Diploma from ITI with Certificate Course in GI Technologies or One year field experience in GPS Survey.
8. Project Assistant: Undergraduate Degree and Exposure in GI Technologies.
9. Data Entry Operator: passed 10^th and undertaken Six months Computer Diploma course covering MS-Access.

Pay Scale

1. Senior Scientist: Rs. 35,000/- per month
2. Scientist: Rs. 30,000/-per month
3. Senior Project Associate: Rs. 25,000/- per month
4. Project Associate: Rs. 20,000/- per month
5. Senior Project Fellow: Rs. 15,000/-per month
6. Junior Project Fellow: Rs. 12,000/- per month
7. Senior Field Assistant: Rs. 12,000/- per month
8. Project Assistant: Rs. 9,000/-per month
9. Data Entry Operator: Rs. 9,000/-per month
