Co- operative Academy of Professional Education (CAPE) invites applications from eligible candidates who fulfilling the requisite criteria for filling up the following below mentioned posts on regular/ deputation/ contract basis in different Engineering Colleges under CAPE.The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 30 June 2014.

- Professors: 25 (Twenty Five). [07 – ECE/ EI, 10 – CSE/ IT, 06 – EEE & 02 – Civil].

Educational Qualification/ Experience
- For Post 1& 2
(i) BE/ B. Tech and ME/ M. Tech in relevant subject or equivalent from recognized University.
(ii) Ph.D in appropriate discipline.Post Ph.D publication is highly desirable.
- For Post 3
(i) BE/ B. Tech and ME/ M. Tech in relevant subject or equivalent from recognized University .
(ii) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with 55% Marks.
(iii) Cleared NET conducted by UGC.
Age Limit &Relaxation
Age Limit for the candidate as on 01 January 2014 should not exceeding 56 years for regular appointment and 65 years for contractual appointment (for post 1 & 2) and should not more than 39 years (for post 2).
Pay Scale/ Salary
- Pay Band is PB – 4 and the Pay Scale is of Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/- Per Month plus special allowances (for post 1 & 2) and Consolidated salary of Rs. 85,000/- (for post 1) and Rs. 75,000/- (for post 2) for contractual appointment.
- · Pay Band is PB – 3 and the Pay Scale is of Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 39,100/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- Per Month (for post 3)
Application Fee
Application Fee of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred only) in the form of crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of the “Director, CAPE”, Payable at Thiruvananthapuram.
Selection Procedure
The short listed candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test/ Trade Test/ Skill Test/ Practical Test/ Interview, which might be conducted by the administration.
