Eligibility Criteria for Scientists Posts Job

Educational Qualification:

• Scientist-D (Molecular Biology) - Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with five year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with six years R&D/Teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 8 (eight) years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree. or First class Master’s degree in the life sciences from a recognized university with 8 (eight) years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree. or Second class M.Sc + Ph.D. degree in the life sciences from a recognized University with 8 (eight) years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc + Ph.D.
• Scientist-C (Biochemistry) - Post graduate degree (MD/MS/DNB) with one year R&D/teaching experience or Postgraduate diploma in medical subjects with two years R&D/Teaching experience in the required subject from recognized university. or MBBS degree recognized by MCI or equivalent degree from recognized University with 4 (four) years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after MBBS Degree. or First class Master’s degree in the life sciences from a recognized university with 4 (four) years R&D/Teaching experience in relevant subject after 1st Class Master’s Degree. or Second class M.Sc + Ph.D. degree in the life sciences from a recognized University with 4 (four) years R&D/Teaching experience in the relevant subject after M.Sc + Ph.D

• Scientist-B (Clinical Medicine) - MBBS degree recognized by MCI with two year post MBBS experience in subject/s.
• Scientist-B (Mol. Biology)- MBBS degree recognized by MCI with two year post MBBS experience in subject/s. or First class Master’s degree in the life sciences from a recognized university. or Second class M.Sc + Ph.D. degree in the life sciences from a recognized University

Age Limit:

• Scientist-D (Molecular Biology)- Not exceeding 45
• Scientist-C (Biochemistry)- Not exceeding 40 years
• Scientist-B (Clinical Medicine)- Not exceeding 35 years
• Scientist-B (Mol. Biology)- Not exceeding 35 years

 (Age Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC/PWD/Women, as per Govt. Rules)
