Indo-Tibet Border Police Force Notified Recruitment for 206 Group ‘C’ vacancies 2014

Indo-Tibet Border Police Force under Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 206 Group ‘C’ posts of Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer), Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor) and Head Constable (Ministerial) on temporary basis. Interested candidates should send their applications till 31 March 2014.

                       7 April 2014 (for residents of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland and Ladakh division of J&K, Lahaul- Spiti district & Pangi sub-division of Chamba district of HP, Andaman & Nicobar Island s and Lakshadweep.  

Vacancy Details
Total Vacancies: 206 posts

1. Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer): 25 posts
Pay Scale: PB 1 of Rs. 5200- 20200 with GP of Rs. 2800 per month
Age limit: (as on 31 March 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 25 years (for DR) / 40 years (for LDCE)
Qualifications: Intermediate / Senior Secondary / (10+2) or equivalent

2. Head Constable (Education & Stress Counselor): 50 posts
Pay Scale: PB 1 of Rs. 5200- 20200 with GP of Rs. 2400 per month
Age limit: (as on 31 March 2014)
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 25 years
Qualifications: Degree with Psychology or equivalent

3. Head Constable (Ministerial): 131 posts
Pay Scale: PB 1 of Rs. 5200- 20200 with GP of Rs. 2400 per month
Age limit: (as on 31 March 2014)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 25 years (for DR) / 40 years (for LDCE)
Qualifications: Intermediate / Senior Secondary / (10+2) or equivalent with typing skills

[Upper age limit is relax-able by 3 years for OBC candidates and by 5 years for SC / ST candidates]

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through multi-stage process, different for each post, involving PST, written test skill test etc. For details, refer notification.

Application fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs. 50 is to be paid in the form of CRFS in favour of the concerned Inspector General for each post.

(SC/ ST, Ex-Servicemen, female & ITBP candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.

How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates should send their applications in the prescribed format along with attested copies of relevant documents and CRFS to the appropriate Inspector General for each post so as to reach the concerned office on or before the prescribed last date.
