Under Kendriya Vidhyalaya, Thrissur Recruitment 2016, there are posts for PGT (English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commerce, History, Economics, Geography, Computer Science), TGT (Sanskrit, Hindi, English, Social Studies, Mathematics, Science), PRT, Computer Instructor, Coach (Art & Craft, Sports & Games, Yoga), Malayalam Teacher, Doctor, Nurse (Female), and Data Entry Operator Counsellor on contractual basis.

Eligibility for PGT: candidate should have completed 02 years Postgraduate M.Sc Course of regional college of education of NCERT or Master’s Degree from a recognised university with minimum 50% Marks in Aggregate in concerned subject.

Eligibility for TGT: candidate should have completed 04 Years Integrated Degree course of Regional College of Education of NCERT in the concerned subject  with minimum 50 % Marks in Aggregate or Bachelors Degree with Minimum 50% marks in concerned subject/combination of subjects. Candidate should have completed B.Ed or equivalent degree from a recognised university and should be proficient in Hindi and English media. 

Eligibility for PRT: candidate should have completed SSC or equivalent with minimum 50% from a recognised board and should have completed B.Ed/TTC or equivalent degree from a recognised university should be competent to tech through English and Hindi Media.

Eligibility for Computer Instructor: candidate should have completed BE/B.Tech (Computer Science)/BCA/MCA/M.Sc (Computer Science/ Electronics with computer science component/IT), B.Sc  (Computer Science). candidate should have Bachelor’s/Master’s degree In any Science Subject with post graduate Diploma in Computer Application from a Govt. recognised university or ‘O’ Level from DOEACC or Post graduate degree in any subject with minimum ‘A’ Level from DOEACC and should be proficient in teaching with English or Hindi Media. 

Eligibility for Vocational instructors: candidate should have Degree/Diploma/Certificate form a recognised university and professional competency in concerned Field. Yoga Coach should have Graduation in any subject or equivalent from a recognised university with 01 year Training in yoga from a recognised Institution. 

Eligibility for Malayalam Teacher: candidate should have completed M/BA with B.Ed in Malayalam from a recognised university.

Eligibility for Counsellor: candidate should have completed BA/B.Sc (Psychology) with Diploma in Counseling.

Eligibility for Doctor: candidate should be MBBS Grduate and should be registered with MCI.

Eligibility for Nurse (female): candidate should have Diploma in Nursing.

Eligibility for Data Entry Operator: candidate should have passed SSC or equivalent from a recognised university, should have Typing speed of 35WPM (English) and 30 WPM (Hindi) on computer, and should have knowledge of computer applications (MS Office/Excel/tally.
