Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL), an erstwhile MP State Electricity Board (MPSEB) having its Thermal & Hydel power stations at various places in MP, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 717 vacancies of Executive Trainee, Junior Engineer (Trainee), Plant Assistant (ITI) Trainee and Fireman vacancies in various disciplines. Pay Scale: Pay Band 3 of Rs. 15600-39100 with Grade pay of Rs.5400
Qualifications: Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electrical & Electronics Engineering for (i, ii and iii);
CA from ICAI or ICWA from ICWAI for (iv).
2. Junior Engineer (Trainee): 45 posts

Qualifications: High School and ITI Trade Certificate in Machinist/ Fitter/ Welder/ HP Welder/ Mechanic Pump/ Mechanic Vehicle/ Electrician/ Wireman/ Motor Mechanic/ Diesel Mechanic/ Electronics/ Instrumentation.
4. Fireman: 12 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band 1 of Rs.5200-20200 with Grade pay of Rs.2500
Qualifications: Basic course of not less than six months on elementary fire fighting.

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 27 years
For Executive Trainee (Finance & Accounts):
Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 32 years
For Junior Engineer (Trainee), PA (ITI) Trainee & Fireman:
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 27 years
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of candidate’s performance in the online test and Interview
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the online test and Interview.
Candidates have to produce original documents/ certificates at the time of interview for verification.
The online written test will be conducted in four cities of MP i.e. Bhopal, Jabalpur, Indore & Gwalior on 29 June 2014. Candidates successful in the written test will be called for Personal interview to be held at Jabalpur. The exact date & time of the test/ interview shall be communicated to the candidates through admit card, to be downloaded from MP online website www.mponline.gov.in from 24 June 2014.
Travel allowance: SC/ ST/ PD candidates shall be reimbursed to and fro ordinary class Rail fare/ Bus fare by the shortest route for appearing in the written test and personal interview on submission of original ticket.
Training and Stipend for Trainees:
a. For Executive Trainee (Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics):
Training duration: 1 year
Stipend: Rs.15600 per month
b. For Executive Trainee (Finance & Accounts):
Training duration: 3 months
Stipend: Rs.15600 per month
c. For Junior Engineer (Trainee):
Training duration: 1 year
Stipend: Rs.9300 per month
d. For PA(ITI):
Training duration: 9 months
Stipend: Rs.5200 per month
e. Fireman: no training required
Application fees: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.1000 (for UR/ OBC category candidates)/ Rs.250 (for SC/ ST/ PD category candidates) through MPPGCL website http://www.mponline.gov.in/ by selecting Pay after submitting the online application form.
Candidates should note down the details of application fee & retain it for future use.

On successful submission of the online application form a unique Registration Code will be generated by the system. Candidates should note down the Code, take a printout of the application form and retain it for future use.
