Odisha Public Services Commission, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 211 posts of Dental Surgeon in Group –‘A’ (Jr.) with Odisha Medical Services (Dental) Cadre under Health & Family Welfare Department. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the post through OPSC website http://opsconline.gov.in or http://opsc.gov.in till 2359 hours on 12 March 2014 and send the hard-copy of the online submitted application form till 27 March 2014.

1. Dental Surgeon in Group –‘A’ (Jr.): 211 posts
Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs. 15600- 39100 with Grande pay of Rs. 5400.
Eligibility Criterion
Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent qualification
Age limit: (as on 1 January 2014)
Minimum: 21 years
Maximum: 32 years
[Upper age limit is relax-able by 5 years for SC / ST SEBC and female candidates]

Selection Procedure: Selection will be done through career marking and candidates’ performance in the written test.
The 200 marks written test will be conducted at Cuttack and have multiple choices questions only.
Application fees: Non refundable application fee of Rs. 300 is to be deposited in cash in any branch of S.B.I. using the fee payment challan available online for download and print.
SC / ST candidates of Odisha and PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
How to Apply: Interested and eligible candidates can apply online for the post through OPSC website http://opsconline.gov.in or http://opsc.gov.in till 2359 hours on 12 March 2014.
On successful submission of online application form, a unique Registration ID. will be displayed on the screen. Candidates should note it down for future reference.
After submitting the online application form, candidates are required to take its printout, complete the remaining formalities and send it along with fee deposit receipt in original and copies of relevant certificates by post to ‘The Special Secretary, Odisha Public Services Commission, 19, Dr. P. K. Parija Road, Cuttack – 753 001’ so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 27 March 2014 (till 1700 hours).
On the envelope containing the printout of online submitted application candidates should super-scribe “Application for the post of Dental Surgeon in the Rank of Class I (Jr.)”
