Raw Materials Division (RMD), the controlling unit of captive mines of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) invited applications for recruitment to the post of Mining Foreman and Mining Mate. The candidates eligible for the post can apply through online on or before 29 March 2014.

Age Limit
- Candidate’s maximum age must be 28 years as on 1 February 2014.

Educational Qualification
- Mining Foreman: Matriculation and Diploma in Mining along with Mining Foreman’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority.
- Mining Mate: Matriculation along with Mining Mate’s Certificate of Competency under MMR 1961 from the Competent Authority.
Application Fee
- General/OBC candidates are required to pay Rs.250/- for the post of Mining Foreman and Rs.150/- for the post of Mining Mate as Application and Processing fee.
- SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs.50/- only as Processing fee.
- Candidate must submit the fee by means of SBI Challan in State Bank of India in a specially opened Power Account (No.32469839252) at SBI, CAG Branch, Kolkata, on behalf of SAIL/RMD.
Pay Scale
- Mining Foreman: Rs.9160 – 3% – 13150/-
- Mining Mate: Rs.8630 – 3% – 12080/-
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination and interview.
