About GPAT
GPAT is popularly known as graduate pharmacy aptitude test. AICTE was established in the year 1945 under ministry of Human resource development. This ministry of human resource development is responsible for the technical development and education management system. The notification for the year 2014 has been declared; through this examination students can get admission in pharmacy institute. As far as the educational qualification is concerned, the candidate must have completed its B.pharm from any recognized university. Adding on, there is a specific procedure to apply for these examinations. GPAT consists of 125 multiple choice questions that needs to be completed in 3 hours. Correct answers are worth 4 marks and one mark is deducted for a wrong answer. The examination is based on 4 topics that are pharmaceutics, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacology and pharmacognosy. All these topics are covered in these examinations. The application fee of these examinations is Rs 1200 for the general category and for the reserved category it is Rs 600.
Apart from application form and question paper, some dates are of extreme importance for the students appearing for these examinations.
