The Karnataka state eligibility test center for Lectureship holds examination tests for determining the eligibility of lectureship popularly known as assistant professorship in different universities/colleges/institutions in Karnataka state. The center conducts examination in thirty two subjects at 11 selected centers that are spread across the Karnataka state.The examination is usually held in three papers as it consists of only multiple choice questions and there is no negative marking conducted in the examination.
The examination of this is held in two sessions of Paper -1, paper-2, and paper-3. The details are stated below;
KSET PAPER-1 exam paper pattern; The paper 1 comprise of 60 questions with 100 marks. The candidates have to attempt 50 questions in the duration of 1 hour 15 minutes. Paper 1 examination is held in the state of Karnataka.
KSET PAPER-2 exam pattern; The KSET paper 2 consists of 50 questions for 100 marks and the candidates can attempt all 50 questions in the time duration of 1 hour 15 minutes.
KSET PAPER-3 exam pattern; This examination comprise of 75 questions for 150 marks and it is mandatory for the students to attempt questions with the time duration of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
The examination for these were held on 8thdecemeber 2013, and in the present due course of time students are eagerly waiting for their respective results. The university board has decided to declare Karnataka SET 2014 results in the month of Feb and for more information students can visit the official website www.kset.uni-mysore.ac.in. Students are advised to download their results.
The candidates can also download the related information i.e. the syllabus and previous model question papers from the website. The model test papers are of extreme importance as they provide a fair pattern of the examination to the aspirants and also build confidence in them. These model test papers comprise of questions from past year papers and also some expected questions. It goes without saying that “practice makes a man perfect”. The more the students will practice;the more benefit it will create for them. There are no short cuts to success. It is essential and also mandatory for them to practice and practice and practice. However, another significant that is extremely important for the students is to wisely choose their study material. There are several books by different authors. Therefore students need to opt for minimum number of books and those books should be chosen which contain substantiate material.
