NEET MDS 2024 Postponement Likely Or Not? Check Latest Update Here

NEET MDS 2024 Postponement: The National Board of Examination in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has closed the registration window for NEET MDS 2024.  As per the latest updates, there is no change in the NEET MDS 2024 exam date which is scheduled to be held on March 18, 2024. The hall tickets for the same shall be issued 03 days before the exam.

Supreme Court will hear the NEET MDS postponement case tomorrow: March 15, 2024 (exactly 03 days before the exam date). NEET MDS admit card 2024 is also going to be released on March 15, 2024.

SC to Hear Plea on NEET MDS 2024 Postponement on March 15?

Meanwhile, the NEET MDS 2024 aspirants have been urging the authorities to postpone the exam to July for quite some time now.  As per the media reports, they have also filed a plea in the Supreme Court regarding the postponement of the exam. The matter will be taken up in court on March 15, 2024 (which is also NEET MDS 2024 admit card issue date). However, the reports are not officially backed.

Earlier, some candidates filed a petition in SC seeking NEET MDS 2024 postponement to July 2024. The Supreme Court ordered the Centre to decide on the representation of the NEET MDS 2024 exam as soon as possible during its hearing. However, the Centre remained undecisive for almost 02 weeks even after the court's order.

NBE Extends NEET MDS 2024 Internship Completion Cut-off Date

However, the NBE decided to extend the deadline for completing the internship to June 30, 2024. The requests from students whose internship dates had been extended past the prior deadline of March 31 had an impact on this decision. As a result, for applicants who finish their internships between April 1 and June 30, the NEET MDS registration window will reopen.
