The next big release by Apple is the iOS 18, and all eyes are on its exciting features. iOS18 will be coming with the Photos app having better customization options. Take a look at everything new that the iOS 18 is going to offer.

The revamped Photos App

The Photos app is going to see the biggest change so far. Firstly, it will unify the photo libraries in a single view. For the user, it is going to be quite easy to browse through the pictures on the basis of themes such as trips, people, pets, and more. For an easier and speedy access, the user will also be getting the option to pin the favorite collections.

Messages through satellite

Satellite messaging to the Messages application is what the iOS 18 promises. This will make it possible for the users to communicate effectively, even when the Wi-Fi connections are poor or unavailable.

iMessage updates

Novel text effects will now be present in the iMessage. The users will now be able to format the text with italics, strikethrough, bold, and underline. One may also be able to use stickers or emojis as a Tapback. What comes as a yet another exciting feature is that the user will now be able to schedule messages to be sent some time later.

On-device categorization in Mail

An on-device categorization in the Mail is also expected for the later part of the year. This feature will be helping in categorizing the inbox into categories such as Primary, Updates, Promotions, and Transactions. All the important emails will also get compiled through a digest view from a single business. No wonder tracking relevant information was never easier before!

The Passwords App

A new Passwords App is what keeps the excitement high. It is designed on the Keychain's foundation. The application will make sure that there is effortless access to the passkeys, passwords, verification codes, and WiFi passwords for the users. Additionally, the application will alert the users in case of a password weakness, or in case there are data breaches.

Apple Maps

The iOS 18 will be coming with the Apple Maps that will provide enhanced topographic maps. The application will be providing detailed hiking routes across the national parks of the United States. Additionally, one will also be able to easily save a custom route, and then access it in offline mode.

Enhanced Gaming

What comes as an icing on the cake is the smoother frame rates that will change the gaming field forever. Responsive wireless accessories too will be enhancing the gaming experience.

Better Privacy Features

iOS 18 will also be coming with enhanced privacy features. The new privacy tools will make it possible for the users to lock and hide the applications. They will also allow a control on the contact sharing. Touch ID, Face ID, or passcodes; any method will be sufficient for the user to lock the applications.

Changes in Safari

A Highlights feature is also something that the users will be finding new in the Safari. The feature will make use of machine learning in order to surface data from the web pages. This will make it possible for tasks like accessing the gist of an article super quick.
