Antonio Guterres, the United Nations Secretary General expressed his concerns on Friday over the increasing heat between Lebanon's Hezbollah and Israel. He further expressed how the U.N. peacekeepers are working hard to bring peace and calm the situation.
"One rash move - one miscalculation - could trigger a catastrophe that goes far beyond the border, and frankly, beyond imagination," the man expressed. He further expressed his concern through a statement saying that the world and the people of the region can't afford Lebanon to turn into Gaza.

Iran's mission to the UN expressed recently that Hezbollah holds the ability to defend Lebanon and itself against Israel.
UNIFIL, a UN peacekeeping force and UNTSO, the unarmed technical observers have actually been deployed in the southern Lebanon for a long time in order to monitor hostilities. They have been stationed along the demarcation between Israel and Lebanon. This demarcation line is called as the Blue Line.
Guterres expressed that the UN peacekeepers are actually on the ground, working to reduce the tensions and aid in preventing any miscalculation.
