ICAR-IIVR, Varanasi Notified Recruitment for 13 Various Posts 2014

ICAR- Indian Institute of Vegetable Research (IIVR), Varanasi invited applications for Recruitment to the Post of Stenographer Grade III, Lower Division Clerk, Technical Assistant T-3 and Programme Assistant-Computer (T-4). The candidates eligible for the post can apply through prescribed format before 30 December 2014. The IIVR is a constituent body of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). This is a major Institute devoted to research on vegetables and is situated in the greater periphery of the Holy city - Varanasi.

Pay Scale:

• Stenographer Gr-III: Rs.5200 – 20200 + GP of Rs.2400
• Lower Division Clerk: Rs.5200 – 20200 + GP of Rs.1900
• Technical Assistant T-3: Rs.5200 – 20200 + GP of Rs.2800
• Programme Assistant-Computer (T-4): Rs.9300 – 34800 + GP of Rs.4200

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Stenographer Gr-III: 12^th passed or its equivalent exam and Minimum speed of 80 wpm in English or Hindi for 10 minutes.
• Lower Division Clerk: 12^th Class or equivalent qualification and a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi on computer.
• Technical Assistant T-3: Bachelor degree in Agriculture or any other branch of science or social science relevant to agriculture or equivalent qualifications.
• Programme Assistant-Computer (T-4): Bachelor degree in Computer application or equivalent qualifications pertaining to Computers or I.T.

Age Limit:

• Stenographer Gr-III: Candidate age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 30 December 2014.
• Lower Division Clerk: Candidate age should be between 18 to 27 years as on 30 December 2014.
• Technical Assistant T-3: Candidate age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 30 December 2014.
• Programme Assistant-Computer (T-4): Candidate age should be between 18 to 30 years as on 30 December 2014.

Application Fee:

• General& OBC candidates need to pay the fee of Rs.300/- in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of ICAR UNIT, IIVR, Varanasi.
• SC/ST/PH and Women candidates are exempted from payment of fee.

Selection Process: Candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in written exam and Interview.
