National Institute of Technology Nagaland (NIT Nagaland) invited applications from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up Academic and Administrative Posts in the Regular cadre and on Contractual Basis. The candidates eligible for the post may apply on or before 15 October 2014 by 05.00 PM.

Educational Qualification/ Eligibility Criteria:

• For Post 1 & 2: Ph.D in the concerned field with Good Academic Record and the relevant experience in the particular field.
• For Post 3, 4 & 7: Master Degree in the concerned field or equivalent from the recognized Board or University.
• For Post 5 & 6: Twelfth (12th Standard) Pass or equivalent from a recognized Board or University. With required Typing Speed.
• For Post 8: Engineering Degree in the concerned field or equivalent from the recognized University.
• For Post 9: Bachelor Degree in the concerned field or Diploma or equivalent from the recognized University.
• For Post 10: Matriculation (Class 10th Pass) or ITI from a recognized Board/ University.

 Age Limit

Age Limit below mentioned and Age relaxation for the category candidates should be as per rules.

• For Post 1 & 2  :  Not Applicable.
• For Post 3  :  Below 57 years.
• For Post 4  :  Not exceeding 30 years.
• For Post 5 & 6  :  Below 27 years.
• For Post 7  :  Not exceeding 35 years.
• For Post 8  :  Not exceeding 40 years.
• For Post 9  :  Below 30 years.
• For Post 10  :  Between 18 to 27 years.

Pay Scale

• For Post 1  :

Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- plus Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 10,500/-

• For Post 2  : Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,500/-
• For Post 3  : Rs. 37,400/- to Rs. 67,000/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 10,000/-
• For Post 4  : Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/-
• For Post 5 : Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 2,400/- Per Month.
• For Post 6 : Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 2,000/- Per Month.
• For Post 7 : Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 34,800/- plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6,000/- Per Month.
• For Post 8  : Rs. 15,600/- to Rs. 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 6,600/-
• For Post 9  : Rs. 9,300/- to Rs. 34,800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4,200/- Per Month.
• For Post 10  : Rs. 5,200/- to Rs. 20,200/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 1,800/- Per Month.

Application Fee

Application Fee (Non- refundable) is of Rs. 600/-  (Rs. 300/- for SC/ ST candidates) in the form of Crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of “The Director, National Institute of Technology Nagaland”, payable at Chumukedima, Dimapur.
