GATE Registration 2020 J & K: Interested from Jammu and Kashmir candidates can apply for GATE 2020 registration until today, i.e. 8th November 2019. The application window for aspirants from 2020 was re-opened by the conducting authority, IIT Delhi on 30th September 2019. The application form of the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or GATE 2020 is available on the official website.
GATE is conducted for screening candidates for admission to postgraduate courses or financial assistance to Master’s programs and direct Doctoral programs in Engineering/Technology/Architecture and Doctoral programs in relevant branches of Science, in the institutions supported by the MHRD and other Government agencies. It must be noted that along with completing the GATE 2020 registration and filling up the application form, candidates must also submit the requisite application fee by today. Post the completion of the application process, students will be issued admit cards for the GATE 2020 exam in the online mode on the GOAPS website only. GATE 2020 will be conducted for 25 subjects in the online mode as Computer-Based Tests and on 1st, 2nd, 8th & 9th of February 2020. The examination Centres of GATE 2020 will be spread in different cities across India, as well as, in six cities outside India

GATE is conducted jointly by the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore and the seven Indian Institutes of Technology (at Bombay, Delhi, Guwahati, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras and Roorkee) on behalf of the National Coordination Board (NCB)-GATE, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.
