Maharashtra HSC Exam Pattern 2020 Revised: As per the latest update, Maharashtra Board has revised the Class 12 Board Exam Pattern for all the subjects. With the registration process for HSC Exam already underway, the Board has gone a step further and announced the revised examination pattern for Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2020. As part of the revised examination pattern, the board has changed the marking scheme and evaluation method for the board exams. Evaluation Scheme Changed
One of the key changes that Maharashtra Board has introduced as part of the revised examination pattern is the evaluation scheme. From 2020 onwards, students appearing for the Class 12 Board exam will have 25% of objective type questions in the board exams. The objective type questions would be in MCQ / Multiple Choice Questions format with answer options provided along with them.
Total Marks Increased
From 2020 onwards, the total number of marks for the Maharashtra Board Exam has also been revised. Now the total marks for HSC Exam 2020 will be 650 instead of 600 as earlier. The detailed evaluation and making scheme for the Maharashtra HSC Exam 2020 is available on the board’s website.
20 Marks for Internal / Practical Exams
Along with the aforementioned changes, the final key change that has been introduced as part of Maharashtra HSC Board Exam 2020 is introduction of internal assessment or practical exam component. From 2020 onwards, the theory papers would only be of total 80 marks while the rest 20 marks will be allotted to internal assessment / practical exam. Of the 20 internal component marks, 5 marks have been earmarked for listening skills while another 5 marks have been set aside for oratory skills of the students. The rest of the 10 marks will be allotted for subject-related activity.

Maharashtra Board Exam 2020 – Dates and Details
Maharashtra Board Exam 2020 is scheduled to be held in February – March 2020. Currently, the board has commenced the online registration process for Class 12 students. The application process for Maharashtra HSC Exam 2020 which commenced on 3rd October 2019 will continue until 23rd October 2019. Going by the tentative estimates, around 14 lakh Class 12 students will appear for Maharashtra Board Exam 2020 next year.
