There are many speakers who have been the speakers of the Republican National Conventions of both 2024 and 2020. However, this year, some notable dignitaries will be absent. The first absentee is former Vice President Mike Pence.

Pence is running against Trump for the nomination this time. He stated that he does not wish to endorse this time.
