Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) invited applications from eligible candidates for various scientific posts in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, New Delhi and its Institutes. The eligible candidates can apply for the posts on or before 19 January 2015.

Pay Scale

• Assistant Director General (Agricultural Extension): Pay Band-4 of Rs 37400-67000 + RGP of Rs 10000
• Head: Minimum pay of Rs 43,000 in the PB-4 of Rs 37400-67000/- + RGP of Rs 10,000/-.
• Principal Scientist: Minimum pay of Rs 43,000 in the PB-4 of Rs 37400-67000/- + RGP of Rs 10,000/-.
• Senior Scientists: PB-4 of Rs 37400-67000/-+ RGP of Rs 9,000/
• Programme Coordinator: PB-4 of Rs 37400-67000/-+ RGP of Rs 9,000/

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Assistant Director General (Agricultural Extension) & Director: Doctoral degree in Agricultural Extension/Extension Education including relevant basic sciences.
• Head, Principal Scientist, Senior Scientists & Programme Coordinator: Doctoral degree in relevant field.

Age Limit

• Assistant Director General (Agricultural Extension), Director  & Head: Below 60 years
• Principal Scientist: Below 50 years
• Senior Scientists & Programme Coordinator: Below 47 years
