COMEDK UGET-2015: Result and counselling date postponed

The result and counselling date pf COMEDK UGET-2015 are postponed. COMEDK UGET-2015 was held on May 10th, 2015 and result was due on May 30th, 2015. On the request of the Hon’ble Minister for Primary and Secondary Education in Karnataka, the COMEDK UGET-2015 Result has been postponed by 8 days. Now, the result will be declared on June 8th, 2015, due to which the counseling will be held later on. The decision was taken due to the protest over the uncertainty in the issued result of II Pre-University (PU). The scores of COMEDK UGET-2015 were supposed to be declared on May 30th, 2015, whereas, the rank was to be declared on June 4th, 2015. However, now the result/ Rank will be declared on June 8th, 2015. As far as the rank is concerned, no revised date has been announced by the COMEDK for it.

According to sources, 1,08,486 candidates had registered for the COMEDK UGET examination, out of which 57,277 appeared for medical and dental courses and 37,587 candidates appeared for engineering exam and 13,622 candidates appeared for both engineering and medical/dental entrance exam. Last year over 40,000 students had applied for photocopy of the papers and 19,700 went for revaluation. Out of these only 1,379 candidates actually received additional marks. However, this year, the Department of Pre-University Education had received 2,825 applications for re-evaluation and 10,115 applications for photocopying of the papers. Now, all candidates can do is wait and see how things turn up for them.
