Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was held on 29 January 2012 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). There was option for two languages in both Papers I and Paper II to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for I to V Classes and VI to VIII respectively.

Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was held on 29 January 2012 conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). There was option for two languages in both Papers I and Paper II to be eligible for appointment as a teacher for I to V Classes and VI to VIII respectively. The question paper comprised of 150 Questions from 5 Sections including Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Language 1 (English/Hindi) and Language II (English\Hindi).
