Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (RSV), Tirupati, deemed to be a University, issued notification inviting applications for recruitment to 14 faculty posts of Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor and University Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports in 8 disciplines. Interested candidates should send their applications by post to RSV, Tirupati office so as to reach the concerned authority on or before 31 October 2014 (1730 hours).

Qualifications: Ph.D. in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline and minimum ten years of teaching experience
2. Associate Professor: 2 posts
a. Research & Publications (Sanskrit): 1 post
b. Hindi: 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-4 of Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs.10000 per month
Qualifications: Ph.D. in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline and minimum 8 years of teaching experience
3. Assistant Professor: 8 posts
a. Sahitya: 1 post
b. Education: 1 post
c. Vyakarana: 1 post
d. Hindi: 3 posts
e. Yoga and Meditation: 1 post
f. Visistadvaita Vedanta: 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000 per month
Qualifications: Master's Degree or equivalent in the concerned/ allied/relevant discipline and cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/ SET in the relevant subject.
4. University Assistant Director of Physical Education and Sports: 1 post
Pay Scale: PB-3 of Rs.15600-39100 with AGP of Rs.6000 per month
Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physical Education or Sports Science or equivalent with record of having represented the university at the inter-university competitions or the State and/ or national championships
Age of superannuation (for all posts): 65 years for teachers and 62 years for non-vacation academic staff.
Selection Procedure: Selection of candidates would be done on the basis of their performance in the Interview.
Only shortlisted candidates will be called for the Interview.
Call letters for interview would be sent to eligible candidates only.
Application Fee: Non-refundable application fee of Rs.300 (Rs.150 for SC/ ST category candidates) is to be paid through a crossed Demand Draft drawn in favour of ‘The Registrar, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati’ payable at Tirupati.
Candidates should mention the name of the post applied for, and their name with full postal address on the back of the Demand Draft.
PH category candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
