Age Limit: Between 21 years and 35 years as on 1 July 2011
Pay Scale: Rs 9,300- 34,800 with Grade Pay Rs 4,600 per month.
Place of interviews: ICFRE (Headquarters), P.O. New Forest, Dehradun (Uttarakhand)
Application Fee: The fee for Main Examination for General/ OBC candidate of UP is Rs 230 and fee for SC of UP/ ST of UP is Rs 110.
Selection Procedure: The selection procedure will comprise of the following exams.

UP Police Act and Regulations under this Act (15 questions) - Written (Main) Exam
a) General Knowledge (100 marks)
b) General Hindi (100 marks)
c) Criminal Law & Procedure (100 marks)
d) Law of Evidence (100 marks) - Personality Test (50 marks): The successful candidate in Main Examination will have to appear for Personality Test.
