The Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile (CBM) is a guided ballistic missile designed for nuclear weapons delivery with a minimum range of 5500 kilometres. It was first developed under the team of Wernher von Braun by Nazi Germany for bombing on New York and other American Cities during World War II.

The modern ICBM designed with multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles (MIRVs) which can be deployed from multiple platforms. For example- missile silos, which offer some protection from military attack; submarines; Heavy trucks; and mobile launchers on rails.

Note: DF (Dong Feng or East Wind) are land-based ICBMs.

France

France only deploys submarine-launched ICBMs, with all land based IRBMs decommissioned.

India

Agni-V: 2014, road and rail mobile ICBM with a range of 5,500-8,000 km and is expected to enter service in 2015.

Agni-VI (Under Development): is an ICBM with a range of 8,000-10,000 km and is expected to enter service in 2017

Israel

Jericho III is a road mobile ICBM which entered service in 2008, a three-stage solid propellant missile with a payload of 1,000 to 1,300 kg with a range of 4,800 to 11,500 km (2,982 to 7,180 miles).
