NIOS Exam 2024: The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has commenced the NIOS Class 10 and Class 12 Exams 2024 today, April 6, 2024. As per the official exam timetable, the public exams will end on May 22, 2024. Candidates can download the NIOS Admit Card 2024 from the official website - sdmis.nios.ac.in.
The Institute of Open Schooling has decided to provide 15 minutes of reading time to students. The objective behind this provision is to ensure equal academic opportunities and facilitate a more conducive examination environment for students. The extra time will help students read the question paper thoroughly before attempting the exam.
The NIOS Board Exams 2024 for Classes 10 and 12 are scheduled to be held in a single shift. The afternoon shift will commence from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Students must mandatorily carry the NIOS Admit Card 2024 and school ID for verification purposes.

NIOS Board Exam 2024: Key Guidelines
Students appearing for the NIOS Class 10, 12 Exams 2024 must go through the following instructions to avoid hassle.
- Candidates are required to arrive at the exam centre at least one hour before the commencement of the NIOS Board Examination
- Students must carry their NIOS Hall Ticket 2024 and school identification proof to the examination centre
- Students are allowed to use only blue or black pens and basic stationery items to complete their examination
- Electronic devices like mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, smart watches, or electronic watches are prohibited for candidates
