Recenty, the 59-year old British tech investor, Mike Lynch has been brought from the sunken Bayesian superyacht

The cause of death is the sinking of the luxury yacht he was on. On early Monday morning, a tornado hit the yatch and made the yacht sink off the coast of Sicily, Italy.

A majority of Mike's wealth has been attained by cofounding a tech company purchased byu Hewlett-Packard, named Autnmy The company was purchased for $11 billion in the year 2011. Recently, and attorney for Mike expressed that the total worth of Mike is over $450 million.

It is interesting to note the sale of Autonomy was actually one of the largest British tech deals in those time. However, the deal did not go well. as Hewlett-Packard, or HP wrote the value of Autonomy as $8.8 billion in just an year. The acquisition of Autonomy was actually meant to increase the business for HP.

Moreover, things went sour when legal challenges followed the huge sale. Recently, these challenges ended with a fraud trial.

There were several accusations against Mike. Lynch and Stephen Chamberlin (former Autonomy finance executive) were accused of scheming to increase the revenue of Autonomy before selling it to HP. Mike Lynch was acquitted of about 15 charges in a San Francisco court. Fourteen of them were wire fraud and one of them was coynt of conspiracy.

The verdict was surprising for Mike Lynch. In an interview, he talked about the verdict, saying, "When you hear that answer, you jump universes. If this had gone the wrong way, it would have been the end of life as I have known it in any sense."

Founded in the year 1996, Autonomy became the biggest software company. It also became a part of the blue-chip FTSE 100 index. Additionally, Mike Lynch gained immense popularity at that time by various scientists and academics. He was also asked to advise the Bristih government on innovation and technology. 

It is also important to note that the 18-year old daughter of Mike Lynch, Hannah has been missing. The yacht is actually owned by the Isle of Man-registered Revtom Limited. This company has been owned by his wife.

Moreover, a fifth body was also recovered from the wreck of the boat.
