nstitute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) declared Common Written Examination (CWE) result for Recruitment of Specialist Officer on 28 April 2012. The exam was held on 11 March 2011 for recruitment of bank personnel in 19 public sector banks.

IBPS has been authorised by Indian Banks' Association and has received mandates to conduct these exams for recruitment of bank personnels. Candidates successful in written test can use their score card to apply in all or any of the 19 Public Sector Banks on the basis of eligibility/ qualifying criteria etc as stipulated by the participating banks.

The 19 public banks participating in IBPS recruitment includes Allahabad Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Bank of Maharashtra, Canara Bank, Central Bank of India, Corporation Bank, Dena bank, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Oriental Bank of Commerce, Punjab National Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, Syndicate Bank, Union Bank of India, United Bank of India, UCO Bank & Vijaya Bank.
