Bihar Board 10th Social Science Exam 2021: As per the latest update, the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) is all set to hold the BSEB 10th Social Science Re-Exam for this year today i.e. on 8th March 2021. The Re-test for Social Science subject is being held today for nearly 8.5 lakh students owing to a paper-leak incident during the exam held earlier on 19th February 2021. Keeping in mind the sensitive situation around Board Exams, the Bihar Board has mad special arrangements for conduct of the exam under strict surveillance and guidance.
Exam Cancelled due to Paper-Leak
As reported earlier, the Social Science paper of BSEB Matric Exam 2021 was cancelled earlier on 19th February 2021 after reports of it being leaked online prior to the exam being held surfaced. Media reports confirmed that on 19th February, a photo of the question paper of first shift exam has been sent to someone via WhatsApp just before the commencement of the exam in the Jamui District. Following this, police soon got into action and nabbed three staff members from SBI Branch of Jhajha and found out that the paper-was leaked by a contractual staff of the bank. Following this the board decided to hold re-test for Social Science papers only for those students who were due to appear for the exam in the first shift.
Guidelines to be Followed for the Exam
The re-test for Social science subject of Class 10 students will be held by the exam authority in line with the COVID-19 precautions and guidelines announced by the state government. Students appearing for the BSEB Class 10 examinations are required to carry their own sanitizers. Students are also required to wear face masks at all times including during the examination. Students appearing for the BSEB exams will also be scrutinized and allowed to enter the examination centre until 10 minutes before the commencement of the examinations. Students are also required to wear slippers inside the exam centre as closed shoes and socks are strictly prohibited.
