The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that more than 3,700 candidates affected by technical glitches during the CUET UG 2026 Examination will be given another opportunity to appear for the test. The decision comes after widespread disruptions were reported at several examination centres on May 30, causing delays and preventing some students from completing their exams. According to the NTA, technical issues at multiple centres impacted the smooth conduct of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate examination. Several candidates reportedly waited for hours due to server-related problems, while some students left their centres without taking the exam after prolonged uncertainty. In an official response, the NTA acknowledged the inconvenience caused to the students and assured that all affected candidates would receive a fair opportunity through a re-exam. NTA stated that 3765 students were not able to take the test because of the disruptions and will be accommodated in a special re-exam.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Disruptions
