UP Board Exam 2020: 12th Class English Paper Leaked in Kaushambi say reports, Probe Ordered

UP Board Exam 2020 Paper Leaked: On Wednesday, reports hinted that Question Paper for 12th Class English Exam was leaked on the social media in Kaushambi district. According to a report published by Hindustan Times, the UP Board 12^th English Exam 2020 Question Paper was leaked online on social media atleast 5 hours prior to the start of the examination. UP Board 12^th English Exam was scheduled to be held in the afternoon session i.e. from 2pm and 5.15 pm on 26^th February 2020. Following the reports of paper leak surfaced the Kaushambi district magistrate Manish Verma set up an enquiry into the issue. In related news, a team of Uttar Pradesh STF seized a bundle of pre-written copies from Kaushambi during a raid.

Leaked Question Paper Code Matched Original Paper

The report also claimed that the UP Board 12^th English Question Paper for the ongoing exam that was leaked online contained code 117-316 (YB) on top and code number J28746. This is exactly the same code that was available on the question papers that was available with the centre superintendents. Therefore, to certain degree, the matching of the code established that it was the original question paper that was leaked online.

Probe Ordered

Following the establishment of the veracity of the question paper that was leaked, Kaushambi District Administration came into action and ordered a probe on the matter. Kaushambi district magistrate Manish Verma set up an enquiry into the issue. The probe is being led by ADM Manoj Kumar Singh who has been entrusted the responsibility conducting an in depth investigation in the paper leak incident.

Fake Reports of Social Science Paper Leak in Bareilly

In related news, there were reports of UP Board Social Science Paper also being leaked in Bareilly District of the state. However, upon quick investigation the reports it was proven that the paper which was being circulated online was a sample paper which was released last year and not the paper that was distributed among the students for the board exam.
