After a long haul from the Tokyo Summer Olympics 2020, where the US secured a staggering total of 113 medals, the performance at the Beijing Winter Olympics 2022 was disappointing for Team USA. The team could only manage to secure 25 medals, falling short of expectations and placing third in the overall medal count behind China and Russia.

However, this time, the US has emerged as a strong contender for the most medals at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics. As of August 9, 2024, the US is in the top 10 of the Medal Tally table, occupying the first position. According to the official website of the Paris Olympics 2024, the country has won 95 medals, including 27 golds, 35 silvers, and 33 bronzes.
