Shift focus from people to work
Even the holy scripture Gita has advised people to do this. We are surrounded by people at all times and each one of them has some input to give or something new to say. Often, we become so engrossed focussing on validation that we forget to do every task to the best of our abilities. Sometimes these people are not exactly the ones you'd be keen to surround yourself with. This could be a classmate, a teacher or just anybody in the college. Best thing to do in such a situation is to avoid thinking about that person and concentrate more on the task in hand. This will improve the standard of your projects and assignments and they will speak for themselves.
Schedule inspiration and creativity
Each day, take out time to do things which inspire the creative person inside you. This could be listening to music, watching movies or reading a book. Think of the ways you can add touches of innovation to each day, in each project, to each class and in every relationship. Dare yourself to be more creative and think out of the box. Spend time with yourself, visit seminars, read every day and keep writing all your ideas down somewhere if you are a part of a creative industry.

Become a little more selfless and giving when it comes to relationships and expect less from them. After all, it is more fulfilling to be operating as the cause in relationships, rather than the effect of them. Think about who you want to be as a student, as a society member, a project head or a friend. Be someone you would have liked and respected in the relationships, and the real test of patience is in situations where you’re in the company of someone you really can’t stand.
Exercise to stay healthy
Exercising is the best way to clear your mind, temper anxiety and relieve stress. Other advantages attached to it are improved mood, state of mind, focus and improve quality of sleep. Taking out time to exercise will not only increase your energy throughout the day but also encourage you to eat healthier and help build a routine. Exercise increases your overall work productivity and lightens mood when you are with family and friends. You can start with easy exercises and then move to more challenging ones.
Increase you sense of adventure
Upgrade your life by taking some risky decisions that have the potential to land you out of your comfort zone. These shifts will take you beyond your monotonous, closely controlled, predictable daily routine. According to many researches, having things to look forward to is a proven way to increase a sense of liveliness and cheerfulness.
