The Andaman and Nicobar Administration has released Combined Matric Level Examination 2026 for Group C Recruitment. The total number of vacancies released is 1,535. The official notification for the Group C posts was released on 4 June 2026 and the eligible candidates can apply online from 8 June to 28 June 2026. The candidates who have successfully passed the Secondary School Examination (Class 10) from a recognized board are eligible to apply for various Group C posts under A & N Administration. 

The recruitment process will fill various posts such as forest guard, driver, multitasking staff (MTS), deck rating, cook, laboratory attendant, surveyor and various technical and ministerial posts. The selection procedure will involve a written examination as well as skill or trade tests, physical endurance tests and other eligibility criteria relevant to the individual posts.

1. Qualification The educational qualification for A & N Group C Recruitment 2026 varies according to the post and pay level. For most Pay Level 1 positions candidates must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) from a recognized board. For Pay Level 2 to Pay Level 4 posts an ITI certificate or diploma in the relevant trade or field is usually required. In the case of certain Pay Level 5 posts candidates may need a specific diploma or degree as mentioned in the official notification.

2. Age Limit The age limit for A & N Group B (Non-Gazetted) posts is 18 to 30 years for both male and female candidates. For Group C posts, the age limit is 18 to 33 years for male candidates, while female candidates are eligible up to 18 to 38 years.

Andaman & Nicobar Group C Recruitment Exam Pattern

The examination pattern will have 4 different subjects, such as English, general knowledge, reasoning, and quantitative aptitude. A total of 100 questions will be asked in this exam. Candidates will be given 120 minutes to complete their exam, while PWD candidates will be allotted an extra time of 40 minutes.
