Canara Bank Recruitment 2026: The Canara Bank has announced a total of 3500 Graduate Apprentice vacancies to be filled through this recruitment drive. The notification was released on the official website of the bank a canarabank.bank.in. The application process will start from 01 October and will end on 17 October 2026. The interested candidates can check the eligibility criteria before proceeding to apply. The selection process involves merit list based on 12th standard percentage/ diploma percentage followed by a local language proficiency test and document verification. The candidates who will get selected will receive a monthly stipend of Rs.16,650/-.

Canara Bank Apprentice 2026 Eligibility Criteria

The candidates should meet the following criteria in order to apply for Canara Bank Apprentice position.

Educational Qualification (as on 01.09.2026)

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a university recognized by the Govt. of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

Age Limit

The candidates should be minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on the date of reckoning the eligibility i.e., Candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.09.1998 and not later than 01.09.2006 (both days inclusive).

Test of Local Language

The test for knowledge of the local language will be conducted as a part of the selection process. It will be conducted when the candidate is called for Document Verification by the Bank. Candidates who fail to qualify this test will not be engaged as apprentices.

Canara Bank Apprentice 2026 Training Period

The candidates who will get shortlisted to be engaged as Apprentice will be engaged for a period of 12 months for training programme. The On-the-job training will be imparted to the candidates at the select branches as per course/curriculum.
