SBI PO Prelims 2018 Result

SBI PO Result 2018 (Prelims) is expected to be announced on official website sbi.co.in. This year, SBI PO Prelims cut-off 2018 is expected to be high. First SBI PO Prelims Exam was conducted on 1st July 2018. Other exam dates for SBI PO Prelims Exam were 7th July and 8th July (as per official notification).  However, in most of the examination centres, SBI PO Prelims Exam was not conducted on 7th July. 8th July was the last day of the preliminary exam, the result of SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018 is expected to be released on 15th July.

SBI PO Prelims 2018 (Phase I) is qualifying in nature and is a screening test. The candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as decided by the bank shall be called for appearing in the SBI PO Main Exam 2018 (or Phase II).

SBI PO Prelims Exam Analysis (8 July 2018)

Today was the third day of the SBI PO Preliminary Exam 2018. Spanning a period of one week (ending July 08, 2018), the exam is being conducted in four time slots: 2 each in morning and evening.

A total of 100 questions had to be answered in 60 minutes. All the sections, except the English Language, were available in both English and Hindi. Every correct answer will fetch 1 mark, while every incorrect answer will reduce the score by 0.25.

Total 100 multiple choice questions were asked in the exam. These 100 questions were divided into 3 sections as given below

There was a fixed time to attempt each section and only one section appeared at a time. As per the instructions, candidates will get 1 mark for each correct response, zero marks for no response. There was penalty (negative marks) for wrong answers in the Objective tests (1/4th of mark assigned for the question deducted for each wrong answer). All the questions in objective tests, except for the test of General English, were bilingual i.e., English & Hindi.
