CAT Result 2019 Declared, CAT Percentile, Scorecard available @ iimcat.ac.in

CAT 2019 Result Declared: Indian Institute of Management, Kozhikode has declared the CAT 2019 results online. The results were declared on the official website of CAT 2019 at 11 AM today. Candidates who have appeared for the examination on November 24, 2019, can visit the official website to check the results. As per data released only 10-12 candidates from the total number are expected to have scored 100 Percentile in CAT 2019 examination. Data also suggest that most of CAT 2019 Toppers are expected to be from the Engineering/Technology streams. Close to 20 candidates are expected to have scored an overall 99.99 %. The most number of CAT 2019 toppers is expected to be from the Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Chandigarh and Calcutta regions. The CAT 2019 Toppers List and CAT 2019 Toppers will also be released soon. 

CAT 2019 was conducted in the computer-based mode across the different examination centres for a duration of three hours. The question paper of CAT 2019 contained the following sections- Quantitative Ability (QA), Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension (VARC) and Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR).

Steps to download CAT 2019 Results

• Step 1: Visit the CAT 2019 official website
• Step 2: Click on the CAT 2019 Result link provided on the official website
• Step 3: Enter the login details in the CAT 2019 result link
• Step 4: Download the CAT 2019 Result

The Marking Scheme for CAT 2019 mentions that each question carried question from the different sections carried 3 marks while a negative marking of 1 mark is applicable for every incorrect answer. As per the marking scheme provided, no negative marking will be applicable for non-MCQ questions (Type In the Answer)

The CAT 2019 answer key was released on the official website of CAT 2019. Candidates were also given a time window to raise objections against the answer key provided.

As per reports close to 2 lakh candidates appeared for the CAT 2019 examination on November 24, 2019.
