CBSE Revaluation Portal Opens But Student Woes Don’t End, Report Login Errors, Lack of Clarity in Process
The CBSE re-evaluation and answer sheet verification portal is now live at cbse.gov.in. However, students are reporting technical issues, and the timeout clashes with JoSAA Counselling, which too starts today.
In a latest announcement, the CBSE has declared that the portal for applying for answer sheet verification and re-evaluation is now live. Students can apply online on the official website of the Board at cbse.gov.in. In addition, the board has also attached the official notice, detailing the inclusion of Aadhaar verification for the same.
The notice reads, “Aadhaar Verification has been included for security reasons. For children who do not have Aadhaar, the parent's, relative's or guardian's Aadhaar details may be used. In this case, the Aadhaar Name, Date of Birth and Gender must be of the person whose Aadhaar number is used.“

However, the students have been facing constant issues and delays in accessing the portal online. Much to their dismay, the portal has not been properly accessible to the students, with complaints arising on inability to access the portal on mobile interfaces and log in after entering details.
Furthermore, with the JoSAA Counselling beginning today, students who wish to apply for verification and revaluation of questions are facing issues with the timeout period of 2 hours on the CBSE portal. Students are requesting the board authorities to extend the deadline to apply online in order to not clash it with the other events.
