UPMSP Result Live Update @ 11:40 AM: Result to be announced from Lok Kalyan Bhawan in Lucknow

Breaking away from the tradition of UP Board Result 2020 being declared from the UPMSP Headquarters in Prayagraj, this year, the Results will be announced from state capital Lucknow. According to the media reports, taking into account the COVID-19 challenge, the state government and UP Board have decided to hold the declaration ceremony at Lok Kalyank Bhawan in Lucknow. Reports indicate that in the light of the on-going pandemic, the UPMSP is likely to issue digitally signed e-marksheets to the students today afternoon. Live Update @ 11:00 AM: Passing Criteria for Students

According to the board exam rules notification issued by UPMSP, students from both high school and intermediate classes need to secure a minimum of 35 percent marks to pass a subject examination. On similar lines, students also need to secure 35% marks in aggregate in order to be declared as passed in the entire examination.

Live Update @ 10:50 AM: UP Board Toppers from Last Year

Along with declaration of Class 10 and Class 12 Results, the UP Board will also formally announce the list of toppers from across the state, who have secured the maximum marks. Last year, Gautam Raghuvanshi was the UP Board Class 10 topper last year. He scored 97.17% marks in the UP Board High School result. On the other hand for Intermediate Results, Tanu Tomar has emerged the topper of the UP Board Class 12 exams last year, with 97.83 percent. Bhagyashree Upadhyay got the second rank with 97.2 percent while Akanksha Shukla came in third with 94.80 percent.

Last year, UP Board Result 2020 was announced on 24th April in which students put up a stellar performance in terms of success ratio. For High School, the overall pass percentage for UP 10th Result stood at 80.07 per cent whereas for Intermediate students, the pass percentage was reported at 70.6 per cent. UP Board Result 2020 Marksheets issued today to the students will not contain the word ‘Compartmental’ on them, as per the announcement made by the UPMSP. The decision to not use ‘negative words like compartmental’ in mark-sheet-cum-pass certificate of students, has been taken by the board to reduce the psychological pressure or break down confidence of such students in seeking admission to higher education institutions.

UP High School and Inter Results Live Update @ 10:00 AM: 56.1 lakh Students Awaiting Results

According to the estimates provided by UPMSP, a total of 56 lakh students have registered for UP Board 10th and 12th Exams 2020. Of the total number of students, 30,24,632 candidates registered for the UP 10th Board examinations, while 25,86,440 students registered for the 12th board exams this year. All these students will receive the outcome of their hard work in the form of UPMSP Results today.

UP Board 10th and 12th Result Live Update @ 9:45 AM: Special COVID-19 Precautions during Evaluation Drive

To ensure complete safety of the teachers and evaluators during the checking of answer sheets, UPMSP had put in place elaborate processes and officials ensured strict implementation of precautionary guidelines and social distancing norms. Evaluation centres were provided with the necessary resources including enough supply of face masks, gloves and hand sanitizers along to ensure that no teacher contracts coronavirus infection during evaluation work. On similar lines, the seating arrangement and working hours were also scattered to ensure proper social distancing during the checking of answer sheets.  

UP Class 10 and 12 Results Live Update @ 9:30 AM: Evaluation Work held Green, Orange and Red Zone-wise

In the light of COVID-19 pandemic and the threat of infection among the evaluators and teachers involved in the checking of answer sheets, the UPMSP implemented a zone-wise evaluation process in red, orange and green zones. After being halted completely in March and April months, evaluation work was finally started first in Green Zone areas from 5th March. Thereafter, evaluation centres started operating in Orange Zones from 12th May and in Red Zones from 20th May 2020 onwards. This phase-wise opening of evaluation centres helped UPMSP to better co-ordinate efforts about safety of teachers and also in the strict implementation of preventive measures for COVID-19.

High School and Inter Results Live Update @ 9:15 AM: 1.46 lakh Teachers at 286 Centres Involved in Evaluation Work

According to the estimates shared by UP Board, a total of 1.46 lakh teachers and evaluators were assigned to evaluate over 3 Crore Answer Sheets and Copies of Students to complete the mammoth task of processing UP Board 10th and 12th Results 2020. Taking into consideration the social distancing norms and other such challenges in the wake of COVID-19, UPMSP increased the total number of evaluation centres to 286 and also implemented preventive measures and precautions at the checking centres.

UPMSP 10th and 12th Results Live Update @ 9:00 AM: Evaluation work Impacted due to COVID-19 Lockdown

While the UP Board 10th and 12th Class Exam 2020 were held ahead of COVID-19 outbreak in India, the evaluation work and processing of answer sheets was deeply impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic. Due to the pandemic and the ensuing lockdown, the evaluation work or checking of answer sheets for UP Board 10th and 12th Exam 2020 was halted in March and April 2020. It was only in May that the evaluation work resumed in phases. The delay in the checking of answer sheets also led to postponement of result date from Late April to Last week of June 2020.

For 2020 session, the UPMSP held the Class 10 and Class 12 Board Exams in the months of February – March. As per the official datesheet released by the board, UP Board High School Exam 2020 for Class 10 students was held from 16th February to 3rd March 2020. On the other hand, Intermediate Exams for 12th Class students commenced on same day i.e. on 16th February 2020 but the final paper was held on 6th March 2020. UP 10th Results Live Update @ 8:30 AM: Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma to Grace Declaration Ceremony

According to the official update shared by UP Board, the UP Board 10th and 12th Results 2020 will be declared formally by UP Deputy Chief Minister and Education Minister Dr Dinesh Shrama. Dr Sharma will formally declare the UPMSP Result at 12 PM in the afternoon, following which UP Board Results will be made available to the students online.

Digital Marksheets for UP Board Results

According to the details shared by the UP Board, students will be provided digital marksheets for UP Board 10th Result 2020 and UP Board 12th Result 2020. As per a report published by Hindustan Times on their website, students will be provided digitally signed e-marksheets for UP Board 10th and 12th Results 2020 this year.
