ABOUT US:

Join a team that is redefining the accessibility of space. Azista space is a transformative force in the global aerospace sector, uniquely positioned at the intersection of indigenous innovation and industrial scalability. Operating India’s first private-sector satellite mass-production facility in Ahmedabad, we have bridged the gap between complex engineering and high-volume manufacturing.

As a vertically integrated leader, we provide end-to-end solutions from the precision design of satellite buses and advanced payloads to mission management and communication systems. We don’t just build hardware, we are democratizing the final frontier by providing global clientele with the cost-effective, high-performance technology needed to power the next generation of orbital missions. At Azista, you won't just be starting a job, you’ll be fuelling the future of space exploration.

JOB SUMMARY:

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will own the end-to-end architecture, design, and qualification of our next-generation On-Board Computer (OBC) systems. You will bridge complex digital system design with flight-ready reliability, taking mission-critical space electronics from concept through schematic design, PCB layout, rigorous environmental qualification, and flight release.

In this role, you will be the core technical owner for primary avionics metrics: power/signal integrity, radiation resilience, thermal derating margins, first-pass board bring-up success, and compliance with aerospace standards (ECSS, MIL-STD, NASA).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own OBC Architecture & Design: Architect, simulate, and design flight-grade On-Board Computer (OBC) electronics, power management subsystems, memory topologies, and high-speed communications interfaces.
  • Lead Schematic & High-Speed PCB Execution: Develop detailed schematics in modern EDA tools (Altium, OrCAD/Cadence) and steer layout teams for signal integrity, power integrity, and strict EMI/EMC mitigation.
  • Drive Reliability & Margin Analysis: Conduct circuit simulations, SPICE modeling, parts stress/derating studies, FMECA, and worst-case circuit analyses tailored to extreme radiation and thermal vacuum environments.
  • Hands-On Board Bring-Up & Debugging: Lead physical hardware bring-up, power sequencing validation, and root-cause troubleshooting using high-bandwidth oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers.
  • Deliver Cross-Functional Integration: Partner closely with FPGA, firmware, and aerospace systems teams to establish robust Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and smooth hardware-software integration.
  • Execute Space Qualification & Testing: Guide flight hardware through comprehensive environmental qualification campaigns, including Thermal Vacuum (TVAC), vibration/shock, radiation testing (TID/SEE), and EMC compliance.
  • Technical Mentorship: Champion engineering best practices, lead rigorous design reviews, and mentor junior hardware engineers across aerospace programs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR?

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on embedded hardware design experience, with at least 2+ years dedicated to aerospace, defense, avionics, satellite systems, or high-reliability digital electronics.
  • EDA & Tooling Mastery: Proven proficiency with schematic capture and PCB layout platforms such as Altium Designer, Cadence Allegro, or OrCAD.
  • High-Speed & Digital Protocols: Practical design experience with microprocessors/microcontrollers and high-speed interfaces (DDR memory, SpaceWire, Ethernet, CAN Bus, SPI, I2C, UART).
  • Space Environment & Reliability Familiarity: Strong foundation in radiation effects (SEE, TID), space environmental constraints, and aerospace design standards (ECSS, MIL-STD-461, DO-254, or NASA standards).
  • Testing & Lab Skills: Demonstrated track record in hands-on lab bring-up, signal probing, and bench-level hardware debugging.

PREFERRED / NICE-TO-HAVE:

  • Direct experience with satellite avionics flight hardware, spacecraft buses, or launch campaign integration.
  • Expertise with radiation-hardened / radiation-tolerant component selection and space derating guidelines.
  • Experience with FPGA co-design, high-reliability New Product Introduction (NPI), and aerospace manufacturing workflows.

WHY JOIN US?

  • Direct Orbital Impact: Build hardware that leaves Earth’s atmosphere and powers active space missions.
  • Pioneering Ecosystem: Be part of India’s first mass-manufacturing satellite facility, combining rapid agile development with deep industrial scale.
  • True End-to-End Ownership: Escape narrow component-level silos; own full subsystems from initial whiteboard architecture to flight qualification.
  • Collaborative Deep-Tech Culture: Work alongside passionate aerospace, firmware, and systems engineers dedicated to democratizing the final frontier.

SAP Customer Service Lead

12 month contract | Remote, India based | Start ASAP

A senior SAP Customer Service specialist is needed to lead the service systems workstream on a regional customer support consolidation programme in the healthcare technology sector.

The organisation is moving from a fragmented, country by country service model into a single centralised support hub covering multiple APAC markets. You'll be the subject matter authority for SAP CS across that transition, owning the process design and making sure service continuity holds through each country migration.

What the role covers

You'll lead the design and harmonisation of service processes across the hub, spanning case management, service notifications, service orders, complaints, returns and repairs, and field service dispatch. You'll advise on architecture and design decisions, and act as the link between local affiliate operations, global support functions and the platform teams behind contact centre, field service and online support.

A significant part of this is the migration itself. You'll manage the shadowing and hypercare phases as each market transfers into the hub, so the ability to keep operations stable while processes are changing underneath you matters as much as the configuration knowledge.

Alongside that you'll own user access and role management for the service teams, work with infrastructure colleagues on secure data flows and telephony integration from inbound call through to dispatch, and build the training and knowledge materials that field service engineers and agents will work from.

There's also an innovation element. The programme is introducing GenAI tooling into service operations, covering areas such as agent assist, automated call summarisation and chatbots, and this role is expected to define the use cases and drive adoption on the ground.

What we're looking for

Ten to fifteen years in SAP Customer Service with at least two full lifecycle implementations behind you. Experience within medical technology, diagnostics, pharmaceutical or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment is important, as is a working understanding of how SAP CS sits alongside SAP PM and SAP SD.

You'll need practical exposure to CRM and field service management platforms and how cases flow through to dispatch, along with integration experience across service management tooling and cloud contact centre or telephony platforms. Familiarity with quality management and regulatory control frameworks in a regulated setting is expected, as is comfort working across a matrixed, multi country delivery team.

SAP S/4HANA Service Management certification is welcome. So is any formal grounding in CRM, field service or analytics platforms.

This is a senior, standalone position. You'll be advising rather than executing to someone else's design, so the communication and stakeholder skills need to match the technical depth.

Details

Twelve months initially, fully remote, candidate must be based in India. Competitive day rate depending on experience. Immediate start.

If this fits, send your CV to chris.bennett@discoverinternational.com or apply.

Data Scientist

Location: Remote

Duration: 6-month contract

The Role

We're looking for a Data Scientist to embed with our service delivery and client teams and turn large, messy operational data into decisions. You'll work at the intersection of data quality, human annotation, and model evaluation — measuring rater agreement, surfacing quality signals, building predictive and diagnostic models, and translating findings into recommendations that leadership and clients act on. This is a hands-on, business-facing role for someone who is as comfortable writing SQL and Python as they are presenting a trade-off to a non-technical stakeholder.

What You'll Do

  • Analyze rater and annotation data to measure quality, consistency, and agreement — including inter-rater reliability, precision/recall trade-offs, and temporal validation of task performance.
  • Build and validate statistical and machine learning models to predict quality issues, detect anomalies, and support workforce and capacity planning.
  • Design and evaluate metrics and experiments (A/B tests, sampling strategies, audit frameworks) to assess data and model quality for client programs.
  • Partner with delivery leads, program managers, and client stakeholders to frame business questions, scope analyses, and deliver clear, actionable insights.
  • Work with large datasets in BigQuery and GCP, writing efficient, well-tested SQL and Python for analysis and pipelines.
  • Communicate results to technical and non-technical audiences through clear visualizations, concise narratives, and executive-ready summaries.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to productionize recurring analyses and move ad hoc work toward reusable, industrialized reporting.

What You Bring

Required

  • 4+ years of experience in data science, quantitative analysis.
  • Strong applied statistics: hypothesis testing, sampling, regression, and evaluation metrics (precision, recall, F1, agreement/reliability measures).
  • Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, NumPy) and strong SQL.
  • Experience working with large datasets and cloud data warehouses (BigQuery or equivalent).
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into structured analyses and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering) or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with human-in-the-loop data, annotation quality, or crowd/rater workflows.
  • Familiarity with GCP tooling (Dataflow, Cloud Run, Vertex AI) and modern data stack tools (dbt, Looker).
  • Exposure to LLM/GenAI evaluation, model benchmarking, or data-for-AI programs.
  • Experience with experimentation and causal inference.
  • Master's degree in a quantitative discipline
