SRMJEEE 2018- SRM Joint Engineering Entrance Examination (SRMJEEE) 2018 will be conducted by Sri Ramaswamy Memorial (SRM) University for granting admissions to nearly 7,000 undergraduate engineering seats across its four campuses- Kattankulathur, Ramapuram, Ramapuram Part– Vadapalani and NCR Ghaziabad. SRM has announced important dates of SRMJEEE 2018 on October 27, 2017. The application form of SRMJEEE 2018 is available in online mode only. Candidates seeking admissions to engineering programmes offered at SRM University's School of Engineering can apply for SRMJEEE 2018 before the last date of application i.e. March 31, 2018.

SRMJEEE 2018 is scheduled to be held between April 16 to April 30, 2017 in an online mode i.e. Computer Based Test. Interested candidates can apply online application form of SRMJEEE 2018 through link provided on this page. The computer based test of SRMJEEE 2018 will be conducted across 117 test centres in India and 5 International exam centres. The candidates will be shortlisted for admissions to engineering programmes on basis of their ranks obtained in SRMJEEE 2018 and on basis of eligibility criteria of SRMJEEE 2018. The syllabus for SRMJEEE 2018 is mostly based on Class XI and Class XII topics as per the Board or equivalent examination.

SRMJEEE Eligibility Criteria 2018

Nationality:

• Candidates can be residents of India, Non Resident Indian, holder of PIO (Persons of Indian Origin) or OCI card issued by Government of India are eligible to apply for SRMJEEE 2018

• NRI, OCI and PIO candidates need to apply under International Students Category for SRMJEEE 2018 application

Academic Eligibility for SRMJEEE 2018:

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent with Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry or Biology, Physics and Chemistry with at least 60% marks in aggregate for admissions to Kattankulathur, Ramapuram and Vadapalani campuses and for Delhi and Delhi NCR campus the aggregate marks in all subjects should be at least 55% to be eligible for SRMJEEE 2018

• Candidates should have passed their qualifying examination from CBSE/ICSE/Matriculation/NIOS or any other state board as per SRMJEEE 2018 eligibility criteria

• Moreover, students should have passed the 10+2 qualifying examination with only 2 attempts (if given Improvement exam) to be eligible for admissions thorugh SRMJEEE 2018

Paper pattern:

Part-1: Physics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part-2: Chemistry 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part-3: Mathematics 35 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks

Part-4: Biology 50 questions with a total weightage of 105 marks (Optional for engineering aspirants)

General:

1. Total marks: 315

2. 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer given Part-1, 2 & 3 and 0.7 marks will be reduced for every wrong answer in Biology.

3. Medium of question paper will be English.

4. Questions will be of objective type with single choice correct.

1. Registration:

For registration candidates have to fill the following details:

SRMJEE Syllabus 2018

SRMJEEE Counseling Procedure

1. Counselling for the admission in SRM University will be based on the rank in the SRMJEEE-2018. A certain date will be announced and will be published on the official website for a particular range of ranks. Candidates are requested to appear in the order of their respective ranks.

2. Change of date & time of counseling is generally not permissible. If a candidate does not personally appear before the Admission Committee for counseling / Interview on the date and time specified, his / her seat shall be offered to the next candidate in order of merit.

3. The selected candidates will have to remit the prescribed fees by way of Demand Draft drawn in favour of “SRMIST”, payable at Chennai, on confirmation of the seat, and acceptance of the branch allotted.

4. The candidates should produce the following documents in original along with one set of photocopies while reporting for counseling. Candidates will not be allowed to participate in the counseling process without these documents.

5. Documents required in Original to be submitted during counseling & admission for UG programs:

• Counseling call letter / Provisional allotment letter.

• SRMJEEE-2018 Rank Card / Hall Ticket (except for B. Arch.).

• High School (Class X) marks sheet.

• Marks sheet of qualifying examination.

• Community certificate (issued by the competent authority).

• DEMAND DRAFT towards part of tuition fee or full tuition fee whichever is less. DD should be drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at CHENNAI.

6. Balance tuition fees, if any, should be paid before the last date stipulated by the University failing which the admission offer would stand cancelled.
