Pay Scale
Professor: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000, AGP-Rs.10000
Associate Professor: PB-4 Rs.37400-67000, AGP-Rs.9000
Assistant Professor: PB-3 Rs.15600-39100, AGP-Rs.6000
Fee: A non-refundable application fee of Rs.300 has to be paid through cross demand draft drawn in favor of
‘Central University of Jharkhand’, & Payable at Ranchi.
[SC/ST/PH Candidates need not pay fee.]
How to Apply
Completely filled in applications, in the prescribed format, along with copies of required documents/certificates, filled in APIs form and crossed DD (as Application Fee) should be send to “The Registrar, Recruitment Cell, Central University of Jharkhand, Ratu- Lohardaga Road, Brambe, Mandar, Ranchi-8352085” so as to reach the office on or before the last date.
• Candidates should mention Advertisement No, Advertisement Date, Name of the post applied for and Name of the Centre in which post applied for on the top of the envelop.
• Separate application should be submitted for each post

Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of candidates’ previous records and their performances in the interview. The University may utilize seminar or colloquium as a method of selection.
Final appointment will be subject to the Provisions of the Central University of Jharkhand Act, statutes and other rules applicable to the University and subject to the concurrence from the Govt. of India.
• Maximum 10 (Ten) candidates per post will be called for interview among the shortlisted candidates in order of merit.
• Candidates not selected against the sanctioned post may be offered contractual appointment (Guest Faculty) at a consolidated salary of Rs.35,000 per month.
